I went to the UP Lantern Parade for 2012 and for the first time in years, I was able to take photos of the different participants of it. It was quite a surreal experience for me, since it was my first time to see it from beginning to end and stayed for the program. I didn’t get to watch the fireworks show but I was happy that I was able to spend it with equally awesome people.
I really thought that I had to go lone wolf for the lantern parade and all of my photos would either be without me or self shot. Good thing I got to meet some students and I didn’t have to go walk with the parade. This gave me a chance to just take photos of the parade itself.

I got to meet new people and made new friends, I enjoyed eating a lot of things as well as the different lanterns and the different lights. I really love the fact that I was able to get good shots (of course most were lucky shots) of these things that happened during the parade.
I do hope to do this again next year. I also hope that your holidays will be just as bright.
