With what is all that’s happening in Egypt, I found this interesting article by the Guardian about Egyptian protesters improvising helmets.

With all that is happening right now in that place, I find it interesting how they resort to use anything that they come across for protection. Though some were crude and doubtful that they would offer you protection, I think it’s having that feeling of assurance that you are somewhat protected and would be less injured when you wear something over your head.
